I met Dick and Betty in Washington, D.C. when I was a Brigadier General in the Army. I had entered the Army as a Private during the Korean War and worked my way up to Major General before I retired. Though Dick had never met me, he told me that he believed God wanted me to speak to various groups telling of my Christian experiences. What he did not know, was that at the time I had several speaking requests, but had decided to turn them all down. As a result of his prompting, I accepted some of them, and it has made all the difference to me. Dick and Betty's purpose in life is to be prophetic encouragers. Their knowledge of the Bible is phenomenal, but more importantly, they know how to apply it to every day people in every day situations so that it ministers life and help. -- Jerry Ralph Curry

WHAT OTHER SAY ABOUT DICK?

The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel ordained Dick in 1949, and he and Betty have traveled as an evangelist all over the U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, Latin America, Europe, and Australia. In 1966 Dick and Betty became a part of the then-emerging Charismatic Renewal. Passing through all denominational barriers, Dick has had the opportunity to speak in thousands of churches of varied backgrounds all over the world. He has ministered with: the Full Gospel Business Men, Women's Aglow, Inter-church Renewal Catholic Pentecostals, mainline Charismatic groups as well as CBN, TBN television networks and many independent Christian TV Stations. He has also appeared on numerous radio talk-shows, written magazine articles and has spoken at many Bible conferences and universities. He has also served as an adjunct professor at six Schools of the Bible and Seminaries. Dick has authored and co-authored several books and tapes.
